Hey there!
I'm Simon, a freelance UX designer with over 15 years' experience, and founder of ux.page.
When it comes to design jobs, I've sat on both sides of the table. I've been the applicant, who has spent many a late night crafting pixel-perfect portfolios and changing the design over and over because it isn't quite right. And I've been the one hiring, working with recruitment teams and browsing many portfolios.
I built ux.page to make this process easier for everyone involved.
For applicants, it's designed to make creating a portfolio quick and simple. All the frustrations of building your portfolio – mocking up your work in devices, starting from a blank page and designing the portfolio itself – are gone.
And for hiring managers and recruiters, ux.page portfolios are designed to make browsing a candidate's work and experience as quick and easy as possible.

FAQ
What is ux.page?
ux.page is a portfolio and CV builder made for UX and product designers. You add your experience and case studies once, and get a portfolio at ux.page/yourname and an ATS-friendly CV made from the same content.
Who is it for?
Designers whose work is best shown as case studies. Think UX, product, UI, interaction and service designers, and researchers and content designers too, from juniors to leads. It's made for people looking for their next role, whether that's in-house, at an agency or freelance.
Is ux.page free?
Yes. The free plan has unlimited case studies and images, your own ux.page/username address, an ATS-friendly CV, availability status and the device mockup generator. Pro adds tailored portfolio links and CVs, private case studies, your own domain, an API and no ux.page branding. Sign up during early access and it's £29 for your first year, then £59 a year.
How does it compare to other website builders?
Builders like Framer, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow are brilliant general-purpose tools, and you can make almost anything with them. But that can also be a problem. You have to start from a blank canvas or a template, and designing the site becomes a project of its own. ux.page focuses on one job: getting you hired. You get one considered layout, a set structure for case studies and a CV made from the same content, so your time goes into the work, not the website. If you'd still rather design your own, the Pro plan's API lets you build any front end you like and keep your content here.
What if I don't like the simple design?
ux.page is optimised to put your work front and centre, and to make it as easy as possible for recruiters and design managers to see your experience and work. That's why there's one considered layout and very little to fiddle with. If you want something more distinctive, the Pro plan includes an API, perfect for building a custom front end or vibe coding your own.
Are there different templates?
No. There's one layout, designed for hiring managers and recruiters, so there are no templates to choose between. If you want a different design, the API on the Pro plan lets you build your own.
How does it compare to a CMS?
A CMS like WordPress, Contentful or Sanity can handle almost any kind of content, but that flexibility comes with work. You'll need to design the content types, choose or build a front end, and wire it all together before you can publish a thing. ux.page is more limited, because it only does one job: portfolios and CVs for designers. That's what makes it simpler. The case study structure, the portfolio and the CV are already built, so you just add your work. And if you ever need more, Pro's API gives you your content as data to build on.
Can't I just vibe code my own portfolio instead?
You can, and plenty of designers do. ux.page works alongside vibe coding, not against it. It handles the parts that are tedious to build and keep running, like content management and file uploads, and comes with extras such as the device mockup generator and a CV made from the same content. Then, with Pro's API, you can point your AI tool at your content and let it build the front end, with no database to run.
Will my CV get through applicant tracking systems?
It's built to. The CV (or résumé) is a single column of real text under standard headings, with no icons or skill bars, which is what applicant tracking systems (ATS) read most reliably. It's made from your profile, so it stays up to date with your portfolio, and you can save it as a PDF to attach to applications.
What does early access mean?
We're opening ux.page on an invite-only basis to begin with. Request a username and we'll email you when your place is ready. It costs nothing to join the list and you'll also lock in the early access price for your first year!
Will I get the username I ask for?
Usernames are first come, first served, so the sooner you ask the better. If yours has gone by the time you join, you can pick another, and you can change it later.
